School Site Council/ELAC


SSC/ ELAC Members Wanted!

San Marino Elementary School is in the process of accepting nominations for our School Site Council (SSC) Committee and the English Language Advisory Committee (ELAC).

SCHOOL SITE COUNCIL (SSC) is comprised of elected parent representatives and staff representatives. The role of the SSC is to develop, approve and monitor the School Plan for Student Achievement. Meetings are held 4 - 5 times a year after school.   

ENGLISH LANGUAGE ADVISORY COMMITTEE (ELAC) supports the principal and school staff in developing and monitoring instruction and academic achievement for English Learners. All nominations for ELAC will be considered, pending voting approval by parents of English Learners. Meetings are held 4- 5 times a year.
